The Stitches Experience
posted Tuesday, 27 June 2006
When I was 8 I decided that it would be a good idea to run through our patio windows. With hindsight, it would perhaps have been preferable if the doors were OPEN at the time when I decided to run through them. As it was I hadn't anticipated the fact that my little cousin had closed the patio doors since the last time I ran through them, during our game of 'it'.
Wasn't the best of days from memory. 40 stitches in my legs and arms was my reward.
Once the patio doors were reglazed we always stuck stickers on them so I knew in future not to run through them again, in the misbelief that they were open.
Not sure why I'm sharing this horrific childhood experience with you all. Guess it was just on my mind for some reason. Ho hum....links: digg this del.icio.us technorati reddit
